Refund policy

We want you to be happy with talat. If you're not, we'd rather give you your money back.

Try before you buy

The free version of talat gives you full access to every feature with 10 hours of recording time. We'd encourage you to use it properly before purchasing — it's the best way to know if talat is right for you and works well enough on your computer.

Refund window

If you buy talat and it doesn't meet your expectations, you can request a full refund within 30 days of purchase, no questions asked.

How to request a refund

Get in touch in any of the following ways, ideally from (or quoting) the email address you used to purchase so we can find your order:

  • Reply directly to your licence key delivery email from us
  • Reply directly to your Stripe receipt email
  • Email us at hello@talat.app
  • DM us on Bluesky or X

Please don't use the in-app feedback mechanism to request a refund; feedback is submitted anonymously by design, so we have no way of knowing who you are or finding your purchase from it.

Once you've reached us, we'll process your refund through Stripe right away, and they will refund you within a few working days. Your licence will be deactivated once the refund is complete.

After 30 days

If something goes wrong after the 30-day window — a critical bug we can't fix, a compatibility issue with an OS update — get in touch and we'll work something out.
