talat for enterprise
For organisations who want compliance by architecture rather than by policy. Engagements scale from managed deployment of the stock binary, through to bespoke customer-signed builds, on-premise licensing, and air-gapped deployments.
What you get out of the box.
- Compliance by architecture, not promise. Audio never leaves the device, transcription runs on-device, and transcripts persist to storage you control. Fits HIPAA and attorney-client privilege constraints without ad-hoc data-processing exceptions or cloud carve-outs.
- No meeting bot. talat captures audio on the employee’s machine. It does not dial into Zoom, Teams, or Google Meet; it does not appear in the attendee list; it does not need admin approval inside every meeting platform.
- Per-seat, one-time, bundled support. Seats are perpetual at the version you paid for; the contract window controls updates and support, not access. A one-time per-seat structure makes total cost of ownership predictable and good value over the life of the contract.
- Direct engagement. Enterprise conversations go through the founders, with response times from a small team that owns every layer of the stack end-to-end.
How pricing is shaped.
Enterprise engagements are being scoped alongside the 1.0 release. Contract shape is bespoke per engagement, spanning managed deployment of the stock binary all the way through to custom, customer-signed builds with on-premise licensing.
- Per-seat licences. One-time purchase per seat with a bundled update-and-support window of one, two, or three years. Seats stay perpetual at the purchased version after the window lapses; renewing resumes updates and support. Multi-year commitments carry a discount against the single-year rate.
- Managed deployment. Flat one-off fee to package and roll out the stock binary across your estate: MDM installers, pre-approved TCC permissions, and a managed update channel. Separate from the per-seat line because it is work on the rollout, not the seats themselves.
- Custom engineering. Per-engagement quote for work that requires a bespoke binary or on-premise infrastructure: customer-hosted licensing, customer-signed builds, white-labelling, compiled-out feature profiles, air-gapped deployments. Priced on the control you gain, not the effort involved.
Contract value is fixed at signing. Billing does not scale with minutes, meetings, or activity, and there are no per-bot or per-attendee line items.
Every capability below is tagged as standard, managed, or custom:
- standardincluded in the base per-seat contract
- managedcovered by the managed-deployment bolt-on
- customquoted as custom engineering per engagement

What you can shape per engagement.
Deployment
How talat reaches your user machines.
| MDM packaging - .pkg for Jamf, Kandji, Mosyle; MSI/MSIX for Intune, SCCM; Group Policy templates for Active Directory | managed |
| Pre-approved TCC permissions (PPPC) - microphone and system-audio permissions granted via MDM, no first-launch dialogs | managed |
| Managed update channel - pinned versions, staged rollouts, auto-update opt-out | managed |
| Self-hosted update server - the app checks for updates against your infrastructure | custom |
Provisioning & licensing
How seats are issued to users, from managed-by-us all the way to customer-hosted.
| Domain-based self-service redemption - allow-list your email domains on our licensing server; users at those domains claim seats themselves | standard |
| Admin dashboard - seat usage, activation, revocation | custom |
| Customer-hosted licensing server - binary or container deployed on your infrastructure; no licence traffic leaves your network | custom |
| Customer Ed25519 signing key - your public key baked into your build at compile time; we never issue licences for your org | custom |
| Offline licence bundles - signed, pre-generated seat tokens for air-gapped deploys with no update channel | custom |
Infrastructure
Where talat's compute and support services run relative to your network.
| Customer-hosted ASR - transcription delegated from user devices to a GPU-backed ASR server on your network; audio stays inside customer infrastructure end-to-end. Suited to estates where central compute is preferable to per-device inference. | custom |
| Internal model hosting - ASR and LLM model downloads served from your infrastructure instead of our CDN at models.talat.app | custom |
| Air-gapped deployment - no internet access required at install, runtime, or update | custom |
| Audit log forwarding - syslog or structured file export of action events (never transcript content) | custom |
Policy enforcement
Compliance restrictions enforced at compile time. A restricted capability is absent from the binary entirely, with no runtime toggle that could re-enable it — a stronger guarantee than any runtime administrator flag.
| LLM provider allow-list - only approved endpoints are compiled in; no runtime path exists to route summarisation elsewhere | custom |
| No LLM summarisation - the summarisation code path is compiled out of the binary | custom |
| No audio or transcript export - export paths compiled out; the shipped binary has no export surface | custom |
Custom builds
Compile-time customisation of the binary for a single customer. Features are compiled out of the binary entirely, not toggled off at runtime.
| Feature selection - any combination of recording, export, summarisation, external LLMs, MCP server, and other top-level capabilities compiled out per build profile | custom |
| White-labelling - custom app name, icon, and accent colour | custom |
| Customer signing certificate - your Apple Developer ID or Windows code-signing certificate on the shipped binary | custom |
Contract & support
Contract shape and support commitments that apply to every engagement.
| MSA and DPA - master service agreement and data processing agreement | standard |
| Contractual response-time SLA | standard |
| Dedicated account management | standard |
| One-time per-seat invoicing - net 30 payment terms; seats perpetual at purchased version, contract window controls updates and support | standard |
