  • Buy talat on any plan - A few minutes after you purchase, we'll send you an email with your personal referral code (it looks like TALAT-XXXXXX) and a shareable link. It never expires.
  • Share it with people you think would find it useful - Send your code or link to friends and colleagues. They get $5 off whichever plan they pick.
  • Get $5 back once they stick around - When a friend you referred is still a customer three months later, we take $5 off your next talat bill automatically. Monthly and annual subscribers earn; lifetime owners refer for the love of it.

  • Where do I find my code?
    We'll email it to you a few minutes after you buy talat. You can also find it any time in the app: click Refer a friend in the sidebar. If you can't find the email, check your spam folder or drop us a line at nick@talat.app.
  • How do I share it?
    However you like. Send the code directly, or share your personal link (talat.app/buy?ref=YOUR-CODE) and the discount gets applied automatically at checkout, whichever plan they pick.
  • Does it work on every plan?
    Yes. Your friends get $5 off monthly, annual, or lifetime. You earn your $5 credit if you're on a monthly or annual plan; lifetime owners can refer and their friends still save, but there's no recurring bill of theirs to credit.
  • Why the three-month wait?
    The credit vests once the friend you referred has been a customer for three months. It keeps the scheme honest: a real, retained customer stands behind every reward, so we can afford to keep giving $5 away. You need an active subscription when it vests too; if you've cancelled or moved to lifetime by then, there's no bill to take it off.
  • When do I actually get the money?
    It's a $5 credit on your talat account, drawn down against your next invoice automatically. It isn't a cash payout; it comes off your own future bills. Once a referral vests we email you to let you know it's coming.
  • Is there a catch?
    No, just share it with people you'd genuinely recommend talat to. It's meant for real referrals, so there's a daily limit on invites and a cooldown per person. If a code gets gamed we can void it and pull the reward; the full detail is in our terms.
  • I'm an influencer or content creator
    This scheme is for individual users sharing with friends. If you have an audience, check out our affiliate programme instead, which offers 30% commission per sale.
