talat notifies you when it does something you might want to know about: a recording started, a meeting is about to begin, an update is ready. Every type can be turned on or off individually, or you can silence the whole app at once.
Master toggle
Settings → Notifications → Show notifications turns every notification on or off. When off, nothing from talat surfaces in the system notification area.
Notification types
- Recording started. Fires when talat detects a call and starts recording, so an auto-started recording is never a surprise.
- Call in progress. Fires when a call starts and talat is set to ask before recording, or when you launch talat while a call is already going, offering to start recording.
- Meeting starting. A heads-up shortly before a scheduled meeting begins, for both calendar-synced and manually-added events.
- Update available. Fires when a new version of talat is ready to install.
- Update installed. Fires after talat updates and restarts.
Pre-meeting heads-up
How far ahead the Meeting starting notification fires: one, two, or five minutes before a scheduled meeting begins.
During recordings
Suppress during recordings silences updates and other non-recording notifications while a recording is in flight. Recording-started notifications still appear so you always know when talat has begun recording.
Auto-dismiss
How long notifications stay on screen before disappearing. Pick from 3, 5, 8, 10, or 15 seconds.
