talat notifies you when it does something you might want to know about: a recording started, a summary finished, an update is ready. Every type can be turned on or off individually, or you can silence the whole app at once.
Master toggle
Settings → Notifications → Show notifications turns every notification on or off. When off, nothing from talat surfaces in the system notification area.
Notification types
- Recording started. Fires when talat detects a call and starts recording.
- Summary ready. Fires when your summary and action items are ready to review.
- Update available. Fires when a new version of talat is ready to install.
- Update installed. Fires after talat updates and restarts.
- Call in progress. Fires when talat launches while a call is already active, offering to start recording.
During recordings
Suppress non-essential notifications silences summaries, updates, and other non-recording notifications while a recording is in flight. Recording-started notifications still appear so you always know when talat has begun recording.
