The General tab covers how talat starts up and how it looks.
Startup
- Launch at login. Opens talat automatically when you log in, so it’s ready to catch calls without you launching it first. With it off, auto-detection only works once you’ve opened the app.
- Start hidden. Launches talat straight to the menu bar or tray, with no window. Open the window from that icon when you need it.
Appearance
- Color scheme. A light interface, a dark interface, or follow your system setting.
- UI scale. Adjusts the overall size of the interface, in 5% steps from 75% to 150%. Useful on dense external displays or for larger text.
- Keep sidebar pinned open. When off, the sidebar collapses to icons and expands when your cursor enters it.
- Show in Dock and app switcher. Mac only. Turn it off and talat drops out of the Dock and Cmd+Tab, leaving just the menu-bar icon to open the window.
- Show recording duration in menu bar. Mac only. Adds the elapsed time of the current meeting next to the menu-bar icon while a recording is running.
