Title
Click the meeting title to rename it. The new title is saved immediately and replaces the auto-generated one.
Transcript
Click any utterance in the transcript to edit its text. Edits are saved automatically as you make them. To delete an utterance, clear all of its text. To split one in two, press Enter mid-line. To merge with the utterance above, press Backspace at the very start of the text.
Editing or deleting transcript will not change recorded audio (if you have Audio recordings enabled).
Summary
Summaries are editable in the same way as the transcript. Click to edit, and changes are saved automatically. A re-summarise action in the meeting menu regenerates the summary from the current transcript using whichever model is configured. Regenerating replaces the summary text, but it won’t overwrite action points or chapters you’ve already edited.
Notes
The Notes tab is a free-form space for your own writing, saved as you type. You can also attach a note to a specific moment: use the reply icon on an utterance to quote it into your notes, and a small marker appears on that line and on the playback bar so you can find it again.
Action points
The Actions tab holds the meeting’s to-dos. When summarisation is on, talat suggests action points from the conversation; you accept or dismiss each one, and an accepted item becomes an open to-do. You can also type your own, assign each to someone on the meeting, and check them off as they’re done.
Chapters
Chapters break the meeting into topics along the playback bar. talat generates them when summarisation is on, and they’re fully editable: click an empty stretch to add one, click a title to rename it, drag a marker to move it, and remove any you don’t want. Chapters are included when you export a meeting.
